INSIGHT CAFÉ MEETUP & HAPPY HOUR

The Asia Pacific Region:
The Potential Business Impacts of Cold War 2

DESCRIPTION
Despite the collapse of the Soviet Union and resolution of the Cold War years ago, international tensions are flaring again and creating broad impacts to global trade and business. In particular, the US along with Japan and South Korea face complex relationships with China, Russia, and North Korea. The delicate balance between these powerhouses center around the Northwest Pacific, which acts as an arena for heated conflicts that have manifested over the past 30 years. The tensions and significance of actions within the Asia Pacific Region are projected to grow as international relationships are further strained by politics, globalization, and technological innovation. This Insight Café meetup will foster dialogical exploration of the implications of Cold War 2 for innovation and international business.

The meetup will be followed by a happy hour at the VALUENEX Palo Alto office to exchange information with other CVCs/Open Innovation/Tech Scouting teams, startups, advisors, and students for open networking.
