DESCRIPTION
The fusion of artificial intelligence and content creation after the global COVID 19 pandemic has unlocked avenues that were once thought to be almost impossible to develop. AI x Content Creation stands at the nexus of technology and artistry, bringing together creators, technologists, and industry disruptors under one roof. Spanning three transformative hours, attendees will unravel the potential of AI in shaping the next wave of cinematic experiences, musical compositions, visual arts, and beyond. As we delve into this brave new world, we'll reflect on how AI not only complements human creativity but propels it to new horizons with keynote speakers Kate Rees Davies and Jiajun (Jeff) Lu.
Kate Rees Davies is an award winning director based in Los Angeles, CA with experience in narrative features, short film, music videos and commercials. Her feature “Altered Perception,” starring Jon Huertas (Castle, This is Us), is currently streaming on Amazon and was also nominated for the 2022 DGA Newcomers Award, with six of her directed films screened at the Cannes Film Festival. She was the shadowing director on Amazon’s TV Series Transparent where she was also mentored by Jill Soloway, a prominent director and showriter. Kate is also the founder of New Hollywood Collective, an inclusion initiative with workshops that give members the tools to develop, finance, and produce short form and proof of concept content. She also teaches directing at UCLA and serves on the board for several organizations including NAMIC So Cal.
Jiajun Lu is one of the global leaders in artificial intelligence and computer vision. He has more than ten years of working experiences in both fields, has several media heavily reported projects, and managed several teams and startups to deliver great products and achieve great success. He published a book named
