SACC x INSIGHT CAFÉ MEETUP & HAPPY HOUR

The Brain and AI: Understanding the brain for a true AI

DESCRIPTION
The search for AI has always been about trying to build intelligence like the human brain. We have neural networks, one of the AI technologies, loosely inspired by the way interconnected neurons fire in the brain. But is the current AI truly intelligent? What is true artificial intelligence like compared to humans? What can brains do that is crucial to intelligence that AI needs to be able to do as well?

During this meetup, Tatsuo Nakamura, CEO & Founder of VALUENEX, Inc. and Luc LaMontagne, at University of California Berkeley, studying cognitive science will explore the idea of how the brain with convoluted, wrinkly, and mysterious shape can inspire truly intelligent machines with data visualization.

The meetup will be followed by a happy hour and networking event (6:00-8:00pm) at our office in collaboration with SACC (the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce) to exchange information with other CVCs/Open Innovation/Tech Scouting teams, startups, advisors, and students for open networking.
